Shelter Drive

Shelter DriveARME’s Shelter Drive is a yearly event dedicated to educating the public about animals in shelters and encouraging people to ADOPT animals in need instead of purchasing form breeders or pet stores. Dog & cat overpopulation is a major crisis in the United States and in the Los Angeles city shelters alone, thousands of animals are killed monthly simply because there is no space for them, and this does not even account for the animals in Los Angeles county and other surrounding regions.

We collect items for the animals such as blankets, toys, treats, food and other needed items through boxes we place at sponsor locations and on the day of the drive, we distribute these items to the animals in the shelters, giving them some treats and comfort, and we invite the media to highlight the need of animals to be adopted.
